I specialize in fly fishing trips because that is what I enjoy the most. I am on top of what is happening on the
rivers and lakes in the area, daily I am either on the river or lake or take the time to check certain spots to see what is
occurring. I have spent time doing entomology work and can match the hatch almost instantly and know what will be happening
as the water temperature becomes progressively warmer. Whether it be big browns and brook trout in the rivers or rainbow
trout, brook trout, and splake in cold water lakes I can find them and figure out how to catch them. I also do some
warm water fly fishing and that consists mainly of smallmouth bass and northern pike, and many species of panfish.
I can find almost any species of fish in the area but we also frequently catch perch, walleye, and even the occasional musky
on the fly rod.

As of the last two weeks fly fishing on the rivers has really
taken off. Every night we have been able to hook some 18 inch plus fish but landing them has been better some nights
then others. If you are considering a trip to the UP fly fishing now is the time. In two to three weeks the fly
fishing will greatly decline and become much more sporadic. Any questions about whats going on or current conditions
feel free to contact me.
